how long it takes to bring my wife
I'm a 22 years old Ethiopian,
and I'm a lawful permanent residence in the USA
(A green card holder) I came to the USA before
1 and 1/2 years.
right now I live in the USA, and i would like to live
hear for the rest of my life
but, i want to go back to Ethiopia and get marry
an Ethiopian women within the next 6 months
and bring my new wife to the USA (where we want
to live together for the rest of our life)
so my question for you is how long do you think
it will take from the beginning of the case up to
my wife arrival to the USA
pleas give me the answer, thanks for your help

Unfortunately, with the quota backlogs, it will take more than 5 years after you petition for your wife for her to be able to immigrate. Even if you become a citizen as soon as you are eligible, you won't be able to cut out very much time in this process. Unless the V visa law is somehow extended by Congress or, unless your future wife qualifies for a nonimmigrant visa independently, there isn't much you can do about this situation.

It would take about five years from the time of filing in order for her to arrive. You may also want to consider Consular processing in Ethiopia. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
