Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland
parents overstayed and still here since 2001
I have a green card and hope to be naturalized soon, so I can apply for green cards for them and my brother. Will the fact that they are here illegaly be a problem in getting green cards for them. My brother has a 10 year visa, so he is comes and goes, bure my parente are here and I have been supporting them. Thank you.

Re: parents overstayed and still here since 2001
Your parents may be able to overcome their unlawful status upon proper filing. This is difficult for any attorney to answer without speaking with you and discussing your case. Please contact an immigration attorney in your area or feel free to contact my office to discuss in more detail. I wish I could give you more insight but when someone is out of status it is important that the attorney have ALL the facts.
