Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

I received a request for initial evidence for a green card through family application I submitted. They are requesting evidence that I had authorization to legally work in 2015, which I do not because my work authorization card had expired. My wife alone does not make enough to put household income above poverty guidline. What form or evidence can I submit? Or is it possible to submit another i864 to have a relative with higher income co-sponsor me?

If the petitioner does not earn enough to meet the minimum income guidelines for the petition, a substitute or joint sponsor may be necessary. You will find additional information here: http://www.immihelp.com/affidavit-of-support/joint-sponsor.html
