Legal Question in Insurance Law in Maryland
Damage to company owned vehicle while working
A company-owned vehicle was damaged (scraped on a parking lot post) while I was on a driving job. The company is now asking me to pay for damage repair. I believe that they have a very high insurance deductible that is well more than the damage estimate. Am I personally liable for this repair although I was performing a company duty at the time of the damage? This was an accident, certainly not intentional.

Re: Damage to company owned vehicle while working
If you were at fault in the accident then you are responsible for the damage regardless of whether you were on company duties.
