I am in licensed in your state.
Was your car involved in an accident, but you were not the driver. If so, the driver may be covered under your insurance. As a result, your policy may cover any damages, etc. At the same time, you can bring in the driver of the car into the lawsuit just in case any damages are not fully covered by your insurance.
In any event, you should contact your insurance company. The insurance company will most likely hire a lawyer to represent your in the matter.
