ice falling off a building
ice fell off of the building where i
work and damaged my car's wind
shield and roof. the building insur.
company said that is was a act of
god. and they were not responible
for any damages. is this true

In order to apply the policy I would need to see the stated language. You do not say the policy is available.
I need to know the facts concerning several matters which would best be discussed (e.g., day/time of incident, recency of accumulation from inclement weather, etc.)
I would not necessarily say it is an Act of G*d.
