Legal Question in Insurance Law in Maryland

Student Health Insurance

I am attending a university as a graduate student. I have inadvertently missed a deadline to waive student health insurance through the University. Health Insurance is ''required'' to attend the University, but I already have adequate (as required by the University) health insurance through my current job. The deadline to waive the University insurance has passed (by two days), but I refuse to pay for it. What can I do to insure I do not become enrolled in this insurance since I do not want the service?

Re: Student Health Insurance

You will have to work this problem out with the appropriate representatives of the university (in my opinion). (Make certain, however, that you can easily produce proof of your current insurance coverage.)
