Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Maryland
Copyrighting/Trademark
Is copyright/trademark the best means of protecting an idea/concept that is part of an internet website business? Which applies or do both and where is the best place to start? How do you protect a new website business' idea/concept once it's in the preliminary stages and then once it's up and running?

Re: Copyrighting/Trademark
Copyright, trademark, and patent protection (as well as a comprehensive domain name registration strategy) can all be important in protecting an internet website based business, depending on the nature of the business and what it is you want to protect.
