Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Maryland
I want to create a survey where the answers (individual and combined) from the participants will be published. Should a statement be included on the survey stating this? Do I need to cite the names of the individuals (with permission), if their individual statement is included?

You need to have the survey participants sign a simple Release, part of which can be the participant's consent to use of his/her answer in any manner you deem appropriate. Hire a Maryland lawyer to draft it for you based the specifics of your situation.
Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
