Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Maryland

my house went into foreclosure and we owe 159,000 dollars after the sell of our home . Our ex-mortgage company offered us a settlement of either 25,000 or we could make monthly payments of 500 dollars. The question would be should we make arrangements or just let them garnish one of our checks?

You're presuming they will only garnish one check. If you can settle with them, settle. You should discuss this with an attorney before you enter into an agreement.
