Legal Question in International Law in Maryland
my mother died in Oaxacca mexico 6 hours ago from a heart attack. she is american living there as a retired "expat". i have no idea what to do? i am waiting to find out what hospital she's in.. how do i get her back to the states? preferably maryland where her parents are buried. do i have to arrange with the mexican consulate? please help.

I am sorry for you loss. You should contact the US Embassy in Mexico City. They should be able to help with the arrangements.
