Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland
Can you please advise me how I can stop my former employer to pay me back my last two weeks payment. They have notify me to that they would deduct $2985 amount from last pay check claiming that I have broken an employment agreement we had when I decided to leave. I have tried explaining to them that the agreement we had is not what they claim, is there anything else I can do to get my payment?

Unfortunately, there is not enough information here to give you an answer. From the information you have provided I would advise you to consult with an attorney near you. Be sure to have your agreement handy when you speak with him/her.
