Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Discrimination of a foreign national female.

I am a 43 yr old female from another country and was terminated without a reason, without any prior disciplinary action, without any formal published company policies and procedures and without any type of review or grievance process while an American male in the same company was found guilty of gross sexual harassment of several female employees after a lengthy formal investigation and was only given a written reprimand and probation. Does this sound like grounds for discimination?

Everything depends on the facts of your case. You have not provided enough facts regarding your termination, or the surrounding circumstances to make any evaluation. Please feel free to give me a call if you like to chat briefly about the specific facts of your case.

Please keep in mind that you have a short statue of limitations within which to file appropriate EEOC actions.
