Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland
Discrimination & Harassment
I was asked to participate in an annonomous''360 degree review'' of my boss from the management company who hired him
I was on FMLA and received word that he boss received actual quotes. He was told by his assistant in it was I . He threatened to get me.
He was terminated.I continued to get harassing emails and veiled threats as did other directors.I reported this to our HR and nothing was done.I called the corproate management company and was told to move on and stop living in the past.
I also reported inequities ( documented ) in payscale amongst the diretcors( males paid more less education and responsiblity) I was sassured it would be rectified.
I received a mediocre review from the assistant who filled in until a relacement ED was found.I pointed out the errors and misinformation in the review and documented it in a Grievance to the
proper channels in July'07 .Met for 10 mins with regional person who assured me things would be investigated and corrected. I have asked for updates and closure
Now Oct 2nd I am presented with a wrtten repsonse dated sept 9th.
I am being targeted because I filed a grievenace HR diretcor was recently terminated, she emailed me and sai to watch my back. They are after me.

Re: Discrimination & Harassment
If you are being "targetted" for having made a grievance, that creates an additional claim beyond your discrimination claims. "Retaliation" would be the additional claim.
However, having said rhat, I have many questions. Feel free to call if you want to chat about your options.
FYI..you should move quickly, as there are time deadlines for various claoms that can be as short as 90 days depending on jurisdiction and other factors.
