Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland
Hi I earned 3 weeks of vacation on December 5, 2010, it shows on my check stub that I have 120 vacation hours available, can my employer take that from me since it was earned due to expense cutting? I live and work in the state of MD

Depends on what you agreed to i.e. what is part of your employment policy or employment contract. Generally vacation hours are accrued benefits that are earned and paid out if you leave. However this is what most employees handbook state. You will have to look at yours and determine if it is applicable.
