Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Employee Contract

I am a rehired employee, my employer wants me to write a contract/proposal. What is the best way to spell out all the particulars. He promised me a lot of things to leave my job and come work for him. He says for me to put everything in writing and he will sign it. I want the terms and wording to be clear. Can you direct me?
