Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

I previously filed an EEO complaint against two of my supervisors. One of the supervisors retired and one is still in the office. They hired a new Director. The supervisor that remained in the office, informed the new supervisor of my prior EEO activity, which included forwarding an agreement that was made. When the previous case was resolved, the attorneys in the Department and the Personnel Director took an opportunity to try to taint my official personnel files. They placed a disclaimer at the bottom of my performance rating saying that it was changed due to a settlement agreement. The Attorneys and the Personnel Director knew that this form was not altered, because they are rated, as myself. (Also, during my previous EEO activity, one of the Attorneys made an attempt with the supervisor to try to negatively impact my personnel file. This was something that I was not aware of until records were released.) In addition, the new supervisor sent me an email that said "... no one is harassing you. You have this need to believe that people are harassing you..." Is there anything that I can do about this behavior? They are also doing other little things.

If you believe that your company is retaliating against you because of the EEOC claim you filed, you can file another complaint with the EEOC. You can hire an attorney to advise you of your rights based on the specific facts of your case. You can quit your job -- life's too short!

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.********
