You may have a claim for "retaliation" if you suffered an "adverse employment action" after making a complaint about sexual harassment and/or discrimination. The particular facts of how your situation developed will determine the liklihood that you will be able to succeed if you bring such a claim.

The one interesting thing about a retaliation claim, is that you do not have to show that you were actually harassed and/or discriminated against, you just have to show that you complained about such things and that you were treated adversely because of it.

The trouble is that frequently, what seems like retaliation was actually the result of decisions made by persons who had no idea of the complaints at hand, and for reasons unrelated to the complaints of discrimination and/or harassment.

You may also have FMLA claims if you were not given back your position, but that depends on some additional facts as well.

You should speak to an attorney right away so that you can determine whether your specific facts are such that you have a claim to proceed on.

I would be happy to chat briefly if you like.
