Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

I wanted to know if I have a legitimate complaint against my employer. The issue is they sent a company-wide email that showed the names of people who called out. I thought this was personal information that should not have been shared. Also, they sent an email that we could work through lunch and break so we could take calls. I didn't think that was legal either. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

As far as the second question goes, it would be worth discussing this with an attorney to see whether or not the employer violates federal and/or state law with this policy. Forcing employees to clock out yet work through a "break" is very problematic, but allowing an employee to skip a break might be okay if they were paid for time worked (you mention "could" so this seems more like the second scenario). However, such issues tend to be extremely fact specific and an online post may not give enough information to adequately answer.
