Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland
I work for an employer who states that they will fire everyone on a shift in which money is missing from the till. There is nothing in writing. Can the employer legally do that?

If you are all "at-will" employees (meaning no contract, no union, no government employer), then yes, your employer can fire everyone on a particular shift. Why couldn't he? If the answer is because "that's unfair", that's not against the law.
Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.********
