Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland
I had a contrat tha that i default on in 2008. File lawsuit againist me in 2009. it will be going to going to court later in this year. is the statue of limitation up on this contract

The statute of limitations involves the time between the act (say breach of contract) and the time suit is filed. The amount of time it takes to get to trial doesn't matter. In most cases suit must be filed within three years although in some contracts under seal and in other situations this period is much longer.
