Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland

Hello: Th location for the question is Westminster Maryland located in Carroll County. What happens when two unmarried people share the same home and the one whom's name is tiltled on the house, passes away and there is no will? How long can the companion stay in the house when the siblings (sisters and brothers of the deseased, there were no children of the deceased) wish to force the companion out within 30 days? Does the companion have any rights?

The companion is in a very tough spot. One would hope for some compassion fr the family, but probably the companion doesn't have much on the way of legal rights.
