Two years ago, I signed contract with apartment management company, because I forgot to purchase at the day I should move in. The manager refused to give me the key and contract. I tried to communicate with their director without response. Now they are suing me for 4 months empty rent, what should I do?

You should also gather any documentation at all you have regarding this period, and try to put together a timeline of your recollection of how events transpired.
