what are the statue of limitations on lawyers' payments

if a lawyer has made agreement in writing about his client paying for services,can lawyer demand that the rest of the money

be paid in full,despite a payment plan was reached before the demand?

Assuming that the written agreement met all the criteria for a valid contract, a summary demand for complete payment(for which there is no provision in the agreement) when the client is compliant and still paying according to the installment terms which were agreed upon, would appear to be a breach of the agreement.
