Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Maryland

I live in Maryland and my medical malpractice case is due to expire is Aug.2007.Once the statue of limitations is up is there anything that can be done to pursue a claim or settlement.For a couple of reasons I have not been able to obtain counsel after dismissing my former lawyer...

Your question is not quite clear. Do you mean the injury occurred in 2007 or the time frame for filing expired in 2007? Claims need to be filed within the applicable statute of limitations. There is little that can be done after the time period expires.
