Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

Boating Injury.

Saturday night June 30th, there was a block party located at a Sea Shell way Condominiums .

Myself and my friend were on our boat when one of their rocket fireworks shot directly at our boat. The rocket hit and exploded. This

threw red sparks and flames over the inside of the boat and Mr. Lowman's shirt caught on fire which ended up burning his neck with 3rd degree burns. We are

so very luck those parks didn't ignite the fumes from the engine compartment or the boat could of exploded killing 2 people.

We immediately called the police.

Do we have any legal recourse against the association or the individual homeowners?

If it was foreseeable that there were boats occupied in the harbor that were threatened by the fireworks, they you would clearly have a claim against those who were shooting off the fireworks. As to the association, that would depend on whether it was an association-sponsored event (unlikely since fireworks are illegal in these situations) or whether the association knew in advance of the plans for fireworks and made no effort to stop it.
