Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

i was in a car accident and was injured, do I need an attorney to get my injuries covered from the other drivers insurance company or can I settle this matter without legal help. I was thinking that my insurance co. will provide me with legal advice. I am insured with Allstate and the other car is insured with nationwide, they ran a red light.

you do not NEED an attorney to settle your case. However, according to the insurance company's own data, an individual recieves substantialy more money with an attorney than without. If you will forward your phone # and best time to reach you ,to my email address ([email protected]) i would be happy to discuss your case with you.

Additionally, your insurance company will only provide legal counsel if a claim involves your insurance (this can happen if someone sues you or if you get $ from your uninsured motorist policy and your carrier tries to recoup this money) -- they have no reason or motivation to independently seek compensation for your injuries.

You are far better off having an attorney help you if you have been injured in an accident. It is important, however, to chose the correct attorney ie one well versed and experienced in claims involving personal injury. I would be happy to discuss with you further.

You can settle the matter on your own. Your insurance company will provide you with advice, but will not hire an attorney to represent you unless you are being sued by the other driver. If your injuries are serious and you find you are getting nowhere, contact an attorney. Only an attorney can provide you with legal advice, and as my colleagues here have mentioned you will typically (but not necessarily) obtain a greater recovery in such an instance. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further assistance. Regards,

In a traffic accident case, the other side's insurance company is looking to settle your case for as little money as possible. Although an attorney typically charges 1/3 of the gross amount recovered, in most cases, that is far less than you will be able to recover on your own. Don't forget, the insurance company has done this hundreds of times, you are doing it only once. They have more experience.

You can settle a claim without an attorney. There are several aspects of insurance claims where an attorney can bring settlement that could otherwise not be obtained. These aspects are unique to each case. I am an experienced attorney and address each case based on the factors presented. Call me for a free consultation.
