Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland
I was in a car accident a year ago, I was stopped at a red light and a car hit me from behind - had enough for me to hit another car. I went to the doctors a few days later, and got some medication. My pain and discomfort in my back went in waves, some days it was tolerable, other days it was not. I tried different medication, yoga, exercise, and so on. I was in weekly communication with the adjuster from the insurance company. Toward the end of July I finally went back to the doctor, and she suggested that I get an MRI to see what was causing this lingering pain. I found out that I had a bulging disc and immediately started physical therapy. I ended therapy in early Sept. and sent in the final paperwork to close my case in Nov. I heard from the adjuster in early Feb. She told me that she would only cover the initial appointment and that too much time had lapsed between the accident and treatment. I am not looking for a settlement, I need my medical bills to be paid. Should I take this to court?

Court is a last resort. What you need is a lawyer to represent you as your advocate, rather than represent yourself. You will get much better results.
