If someone complained to the police that i prank called someone and the police come to my house and give me a court trial and then we work it out and the plantiff said that everything is okay and they will tell the police to cancel the indictment is the police able to?

If the complaining witness informs the prosecutor or police that they don't want to testify, and the police need that person's testimony to prove their case, they can either subpoena him/her to testify or decide it isn't serious enough to purse and drop it. In other words, it's up to the state's attorney (prosecutor).
