what are the legal consequences for leaving the scene of an accident with minor property damage to another car in maryland?

It is a criminal/traffic offense to leave the scene without properly identifying yourself to the other driver, including insurance information. If the other car was unoccupied, you should leave identifying information on the windshield if you are unable to readily locate the owner.
