Pedestrian Rights when hit by Vehicle
I was in a crosswalk at a green light 3:15 pm. I was struck by a vehicle and thrown approx 4 feet.I was hit in my left buttocklower back area. Declined ambulance, went to own dr., fortunately there was no Serious bodily injury. I am still under psychologist care for Post tramatic Stress. Woman who hit me admitted she was not even looking and did not see me,in front of the OFF DUTY OFFICER who stopped to file report. He did not cite her. Her Ins. CO. Progressive is making me feel like the criminal. what are my rights, What should I do? Thank you

If you were in the crosswalk and crossing with the light, the driver of the striking vehicle is clearly negligent and her insurance company can be required to pay your damages.
