Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland
I have two questions. I was in an accident in november. I was found not at fault. What should i seek for pain and suffering? My medical bills were $1095.00. I went to my chiropracter for 4 months. Also I received a letter from Social Security office stating that they talked to me in reference to my ex-husband. Well I never talked to anyone nor did my ex authorize me too. His employer a lady talked to them. Can I charge her for saying she was me? I recently found out she was charged with forgery at her last job which was in health care. Not sure of the details but had to do with receiving benefits for elderly people and saying she was that person. Thanks for your time

Yes, if you were injured, you should seek not only pain and suffering, but reimbursement for your medical bills.
You should contact the police department, or the State's Attorney's office, if the lady employed by your husband used your name to get information from Social Security. You should also notify Social Security, in case she tries again.
