Superceding Cause?

Plaintiff is injured in a car accident and trips and falls a month after the accident. Opposing insurance company has low balled the Plaintiff claiming its' insured is not respon- sible for injuries to Plaintiff's shoulder from the fall.

Unless the fall can be attributed to the caraccident (leg injury, head injury, etc.), thequestion is one of medical causation. What dothe medical records between the two incidentssay? What do the doctors say?
