Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland
what do i do
I was 18yrs old and my mom lived in an apartment and the rule was if you were 18yrs or older you had to sign the lease. Well my mom broke the lease and now it is on my credit report. She has no intentions on paying it back. How do i go about getting this out of my hand and in to hers.

You signed the lease, you are liable for the rent. As to resolving that liability and shifting it to your mom, you can pay it and sue her for indemnification, if you really want to. As for the credit report, it is correct. If you pay it, it should be changed to reflect that the payment was made, albeit late.
