Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

back yard trespassing

What are my rights when people walk thru my yard from a culdesac to go to my street. If I ask them to not do this, I am ignored later. Could a citizen arrest be performed or forced removal by applied? I do not have a fence. I fear that I will use force to address this issue and find myself at fault.

Using force is ill advised and will only cause you problems. Why don't you put up "no trespassing" signs, and if you don't want to fence your property, run some wire along the property line.
