Bi-Laws
I live in a condominimum which has lots of bi-laws. I recently adopted 2 dogs. Only 1 pet is allowed per the bi-laws. The association is asking me to remove 1 pet. Many other people currently live with more than 1 pet. I own the condo that the dogs reside in.
What can they do to me if I don't remove 1 dog?

Sanctions for violating by-laws and directives of the condo board should be spelled out in the by-laws. My guess is that, barring an informal resolution, the board would file a court action, trying to obtain an order requiring you to get rid of the dog. If the by-laws call for a fine to be assessed against you until you comply, the board can put a lien on your property until the fine is paid.
You should inquire as to why others seem to be allowed to have more than 1 pet from the condo management. It may be that this regulation is relatively recent and these people already had more than 1 before the regulation took effect.
