Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

How do I claim a surplus in funds from the foreclosure sale on my home? My home was foreclosed on back in 2008 and the lending bank sold the home for $21,000.00 more than what was owed? Am I entitled to the surplus from that sale and if so, how do I claim it?

You are entitled to the surplus, but there may not be any after the foreclosure costs are figured into the equation. Ask the attorney who conducted the foreclosure for an accounting, which they have to file with the court to get approval anyway.
