Condominium Lien

Can a condo place a lien on a properity after five years of non payment, which they did not give any notice during those years? Can they place a lien after five years of non payment on property without given noticed in any time period leading-up to five year period, yet have notified other of lack of payment every year or whit in a year time period?

You should first check your condo bylaws to see if there are established rules regarding what the condo Board must do before a lien can be placed on the property. If there is a pre-filing notice requirement, you may have grounds to challenge the lien. Ultimately, though, they'll be able to lien the property, so you'll have to pay the fees to get the lien removed.
