Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

A county clerk provided misinformation to a taxpayer (for real estate tax), the taxpayer followed the wrong information then it caused harm to the taxpayer. What law applies to this situation for the taxpayer to sue the county supervisor?

You are probably out of luck, however I'm not a tax attorney so I couldn't say for sure. I would imagine that the government has immunity. If the damage you suffered was severe (and not just something that you are upset about based on principle alone), you should considering hiring a Maryland tax attorney with experience litigating such matters.
