Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

My dad and myself bought a plot in India .the plot is in my and my dad name combined. After he was diseased I went to states for my job . My family send me papers for signing POA for the plot in name of my sister so that it can be sold . I refused to sign . After some years when I asked about the plot ..I was told the plot was sold at low prices and the person whom we got the plot from tookover the plot. The plot was sold by my family in my absence . Please advice what can be done
