Disolving The Lease

I have a roomate that I know longer get along with. I've tried to compromise but to no advale.We have both decided to break the lease,is there an easier and cheaper way to do this? Maybe an ''Escape Clause''?I do know that if we both agree to break the lease we would have to pay up until the new tenants move in,we have 9 months left. Please help me resolve this situation.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can't break the lease just because you aren't getting along with your roommate. The landlord will look to both of you for the rent. Your best bet is to decide which one of you is going to stay and find a replacement for the other.
