Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

They have forclosed but what rights do I have

They have forclosed on my home and I was not at the hearing due to car trouble. No one will tell me how long I have to move out of my home. I have no where to go with my children and pets. I can not get a return call from the lawyer who has forclosed. We have no where to go and it is the middle of winter. I feel like I am going to die. What do I do? I am pacing the house waiting for the sherriff to come and throw us out. Do I get time to find a place to live or do we live in the streets? Are there agencies to help us?

You should contact the social services agency in your county for a list of facilities for the homeless, and for other public assistance to which you may be entitled. You may be able to avoid eviction during this time of year due to the weather.
