Maryland Rule 2-507(c) requires that any action filed that has been open for a year with no activity (except certain divorce and alimony cases) be dismissed unless one of the parties files a motion requesting that it stay open, The court will dismiss the foreclosure unless you or the filing party file a motion requesting that it stay open. Even then, the judge can deny the motion and close the case anyway.

It's not clear to me what the basis of the dismissal is, for lack of jurisdiction, but it probably relates to a procedural defect in the foreclosure. This may mean that the foreclosure sale will be voided, but to be sure, see a lawyer.
