Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland
My grandfather left property to his sons and they left it their children, but two of the kids are deceased. Are the children of the deceased kids considered heirs?

It all depends on whether the property was left to the children "per capita" or "per stirpes." In the latter scenario, it would go to the named beneficiary's children.
