Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

hearing on motion to quash wage garnishment

I am the pln in this claim. I know for a fact the def has absolutely no grounds for a motion to quash wgn. I cannot be present the day of the hearing, I sent a request to r/s the hearing, but it was denied. Do I really need to be present for this hearing?

If you aren't present the motion stands a better chance of being granted. It's strange that your request for a continuance was denied if you had a legitimate scheduling conflict and explained that in your request. Of course, you can always retain an attorney to represent you.
