Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland
If im an heir to half of my parents house who is deceased, and my sister is the executor --- does she need my permission on selling, price selling for, letting me know the process and information, and do i need to be present for the sale of the house. Were in Maryland, baltimore county. An estate has been opened. Thank you

Your sister as executor has the authority to sell the house but has to do so in the best interest of the beneficiaries. You should insist that before selling she get the property professionally appraised to set a price floor for the sale. If she tries to sell for an unacceptable price you could raise objections with the Register of Wills.
