Typically when a condo goes into foreclosure due to a mortgage default, and there are outstanding condo fees as well, the lender or whoever buys the property at foreclosure is required to bring the condo account current. However, if before that happens the condo association gets a judgment in court against you, they could have that judgment registered in WV and then try and collect it against any assets you own there, such as your home. Bear in mind that if there are co-owners on the WV deed, such as a spouse, who is not involved in the condo, they wouldn't be able to do this.
