Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

My husband and I own our home and rent a room out. Our Roommate has not paid in almost four months. We have verbally tried to obtain the rent. We have no written lease. What is the process for eviction?

Give him a letter stating he has 30 days to vacate the property and that you intend to take him to landlord tenant court to collect the rent. If he doesn't pay up you can file a complaint in court and have him evicted.
