joint owned property but husbandoned!

my husband has abandonded me and the home and land we both own. was my family home growing up, then his name added later, approximately 2 years after in my name and not his. he will not take calls from me and i do not know where he lives.i want to sell the land and get no response from him! can i legally sell without his signature ( in maryland) when i dial his cell, one of his girlfriends might answer and just threaten my life. but he has refused to cooperate for the last 3 years! i am paying the mortgage and taxes, etc. please advise! thank you

You cannot sell property unless all owners of record sign a proper conveyancing deed. Without his cooperation, you can file a divorce action for desertion and as part of that ask the court to order the land conveyed back to you (through a trustee).
