My landlord is destroying my business
I have owned a dry cleaning shop in this particular shopping center for over ten years. About 10 months ago, the landlord, leased a space for another "super discount" dry cleaner three doors down from my shop. I feel that this will greatly damage my business. Are there any recourses left to me to stop this from happening?
I have filed an injuction to stop the shop from opening. I have tried to talk to the landlord without avail. The new dry cleaning is set up and is ready to open, but has not due to my actions. I could really use your advice. Thank you.

Do you have a provision in your lease which bars the landlord from allowing a competing business to operate in the center? This would have been a prudent clause to request at the time, and most landlords will agree to this. If you have such a provision, you should be able to successfully prevent the competing dry cleaner from opening.
If your lease doesn't have this kind of protection, I'm not aware of any way you can prevent the landlord from leasing other space out to a competitor, unless there's other language in your lease that might be interpreted to protect you from this. You ought to have a real estate attorney examine your lease to see if you a basis for fighting the landlord.
